Choose Your Own Gear in Dragonflight Season 4

This means that in Season 4, demon hunters might vote for a set that has the look of Season 1, with Season 2 set bonuses for Havoc and Season 3 set bonuses for Vengeance.
We’ve opened a poll for every class and every spec! You can vote now on your favorites, and the winners will determine what we build into the endgame for Season 4. Please keep in mind that we’re going to update the power of the set bonuses to match the increased power of the new gear in Season 4, so any bonuses you choose will be tuned to be as strong as any others.

We’re really looking forward to seeing what the community chooses. Thank you very much!

- Thats the case either way isn't it? If you didn't enjoy demonfire destruction you where screwed in season 2. If you don't like grove guardians you are screwed as a resto druid right now.

There have always been tiers that the community didn't enjoy but had to play with.- Reply
- It isn't really "all over the place" set bonuses though, is it? You're still choosing a set of tier bonus from season 1, 2 or 3.

Having all over the place set bonuses just seems like a balancing nightmare and lazy especially when letting the players design the game for you.
I could understand if it was possible to mix and match 2p and 4p from different seasons, but that's not what's happening here.

Now i dont know how it works in other classes/specs but in Shaman enhancement the 2 set and 4set bonuses are relevant, each helps in a way or makes the 2 set stronger. Mixing 2set and 4set bonuses from other seasons looks stupid and dangerous. Why dont they let us change them as "talents" or gear runes/slots somethin and do what we prefer?

- Another shot at a particularly rare or cool look, from however we get these sets. Vote your favorite color, or just pick the mythic one because it's rare.

- Can't you do that now? You'd take an ilvl hit but say if S1 or S2 wins you could mix and match it with S3 (without taking a huge ilvl hit)

- Guess your first pointlessly negative post didn't provide an adequate dopamine hit so you had to hit us with the same message twice, eh?

So out of touch.
News flash homeslice: Players are choosing by voting. The only demonstrable difference between this and an equally lazy "players get to choose" is that if given the opportunity, each set bonus will be min/max'd to hell and back and players would get yeeted from groups for "choosing" the wrong set bonus (that's within 5 DPS of the other bonuses). You'd be in the comments section of every f*cking news post saying "lul Blizzard can't balance old set bonuses gg bad company bad game." This eliminates that very bad outcome while still allowing players to have a bit of agency. They could have gone the
extremely lazy route (which is what they did in SL) and just made a higher item level version of the same set bonus we got in Amirdrassil.- Reply
