If I'm going to sell, I'm going to make sure I have enough to buy a house in this market, and $900k gets me there. |

| Minimalism and tiny houses are rad! The thing folds out- and it's a different thing! What?!?! And owning a bunch of poo poo is for sweaty chumps with extensive home surveillance systems and a medicine cabinet full of all sorts of head pills. Cursed, poisoned by materialism and consumption! -posted from my cozy hovel |

| If this was the cursed images thread- oh wait, it is There was basically no other choices in this town when we bought our house. One old lady was about to sell to us but her kids talked her out of it. The guy who built this house was extremely cheap. He poured the foundation 90% of the way around and used this existing rock for the last bit. Naturally, water seeps in around and the water is full of iron. It was rigged up so the water would run through a channel under the house, down to a ditch that separates the road from our property. Because of the pretty orange sludge, it gets jammed up, resulting in the basem*nt flooding sometimes when theres heavy rainfall if we dont keep on top of it. The basem*nt is also only about 5' high, so even if we wanted to fix this up and finish it, the house would have to be jacked up first. Which I wish we had the resources to do because we desperately need more room, as well as to correct this awful situation. |
